NOTICE: Starting Monday April 22, Assessment will be open as scheduled below at the Truman Courthouse.
8 – 11 a.m. The offices are open to previously scheduled appointments, seniors, & physically disabled individuals.
11 a.m. – 5 p.m. The offices are open to scheduled appointments and walk-ins as time permits.
You can schedule an appointment through the QLess app or by coming into the office.

Doing Business In Person at the Assessment & Collection Offices 

Individual Personal Property staff are located at the Historic Truman Courthouse in Independence. Service is on a first come, first served basis.

Business Property customers do not need to check in by text. Business Property staff are located at the 1300 Washington office in Kansas City. Please check in with the receptionist.
