Unclaimed Individuals

The Jackson County Medical Examiner’s Office seeks the assistance of the public to help locate next of kin and/or friends to claim remains. Efforts are made to locate next of kin to claim the body, including posts on this website, comprehensive internet searches, and local law enforcement resources. If no responses are generated, the process of a county cremation will begin for Jackson County to take jurisdiction and begin county disposition procedures.

 

                Attempting to find any family or friends of the following individuals: 

Richard Carter: A 54-year-old white male, who was found deceased near 19^th St and McGee St in Kansas City, MO.

Shawn Brasher: A 46-year-old white male, who was pronounced deceased at Centerpoint Medical Center.

Fred Walker: An 81-year-old white male, who was found deceased at his residence in the 1300^th block of S Crane St in Independence.

Matthew Gering: A 36-year-old white male, who was found deceased at his residence in the 8700^th block of E Winner Rd in Independence.

Adolph Jerry Thomas: A 52-year-old black male, who goes by his middle name, was found at his residence in the 3000 block of E 26^th Street in Kansas City, MO and pronounced dead at Research Medical Center

Robert Torrez: A 69-year-old white male, who was found deceased at his residence in the 10000^th block of Cambridge Ave., in Kansas City, MO. 

Lawrence Wood: A 73-year-old white male, who was found deceased at his residence in the 6100 block of East 129^th St. in Grandview, MO.
