Senior Services Fund Board
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of the Jackson County Senior Services Fund will hold a meeting at 2 p.m. on Friday January 16,2026 at 4550 Warwick Blvd in the Oak Hall Conference Room.
The tentative agenda of this meeting includes the following:
- Board Organization
- Organizational Matters Related to Establishment of Fund Operations
- Legal Matters Related to Establishment of Fund Operations
- At any point during the meeting, the Board may elect to go into Closed Session for reasons permissible under Section 610.021 of the Missouri Revised State Statutes.
Purpose
The Senior Services Fund Board will oversee revenues and administer funds from the Jackson County Senior Services Fund, a property tax levy approved by voters in 2024. This seven-member board will allocate funding to local nonprofit agencies that help older adults live independently, safely, and with dignity. Funded programs will address community priorities such as transportation, home-delivered meals, in-home support, wellness programs, and caregiver assistance. All funds raised in Jackson County will stay in Jackson County, supporting services that improve the quality of life for older adults throughout the community.
