Unclaimed Individuals

The Jackson County Medical Examiner’s Office seeks the assistance of the public to help locate next of kin and/or friends to claim remains. Efforts are made to locate next of kin to claim the body, including posts on this website, comprehensive internet searches, and local law enforcement resources. If no responses are generated, the process of a county cremation will begin for Jackson County to take jurisdiction and begin county disposition procedures.

 

                Attempting to find any family or friends of the following individuals: 

Gary Holland, a 71-year-old white male found deceased at his residence in the 4000 block of Warwick Avenue in Kansas City, MO

Richard Powell: A 70-year-old white male, who was found deceased at his residence in the 3800 block of Chelsea Ave. in Kansas City, MO. 

Charles Yaw: A 65-year-old white male who resides in the 3000 block of Gardner Avenue in Kansas City, MO, was found unresponsive on the sidewalk in the 4000 block of Raytown Road in Kansas City, MO, and was pronounced deceased at Centerpoint Medical Center

Francisco Lopez Niebla: A 63-year-old Hispanic male, who passed away at University Health- TMC Hospital. He is known to be homeless in the Kansas City, MO area. 

Robert Lovekin, A 79yr old white male, found deceased at Baptist Homes of Independence.
