Unclaimed Individuals

The Jackson County Medical Examiner’s Office seeks the assistance of the public to help locate next of kin and/or friends to claim remains. Efforts are made to locate next of kin to claim the body, including posts on this website, comprehensive internet searches, and local law enforcement resources. If no responses are generated, the process of a county cremation will begin for Jackson County to take jurisdiction and begin county disposition procedures.

 

                Attempting to find any family or friends of the following individuals: 

Dennis Cassidy: An 81-year-old white male, who was found deceased at his residence in the 4300 block of Tracy Ave., in Kansas City, MO.

James Cooper: A 73-year-old Black male found deceased at his residence in the 5000 block of Thompson Avenue in Kansas City, MO.

Marjorie Evelyn Therio, 75yr old white female found deceased in her residence in the 3400 block of Morrell Avenue in KCMO 64123.

Matt Roark, 69yr old white male found deceased outside in the 400 block of West Maple in Independence MO 64050.

Tommy J. Hayes, 56yr old white male found deceased in his residence in the 800 block of East 72^nd St in KCMO 64131.

Michael Chism: A 56-year-old white male, who was found deceased in the Lake Jacomo area. He is known to resided in Warrensburg, MO area in the past. 

Clifton Taylor: A 75-year-old black male found deceased at his residence in the 2000 block of Monroe Avenue in Kansas City, MO

Richard Alan Lane: DOB: 10/06/1957 DOD: 12/04/2025 who was found unattended at 10523 East 43^rd Street, Kansas City, MO 64133.

Michaelyn Edwards: A 72-year-old white female found deceased in a residence at the 2800 block of Kansas City, MO.

Robert Torrez: A 69-year-old white male, who was found deceased at his residence in the 10000^th block of Cambridge Ave., in Kansas City, MO.
