Unclaimed Individuals

The Jackson County Medical Examiner’s Office seeks the assistance of the public to help locate next of kin and/or friends to claim remains. Efforts are made to locate next of kin to claim the body, including posts on this website, comprehensive internet searches, and local law enforcement resources. If no responses are generated, the process of a county cremation will begin for Jackson County to take jurisdiction and begin county disposition procedures.

 

                Attempting to find any family or friends of the following individuals: 

Orlando Beritan: A 71-year-old black male, who passed away at his residence in the 2600 block of E 7^th St., in Kansas City, MO.

Kenneth Matthews: A 58-year-oldwhite male, who was found deceased in the 8300 block of E US Hwy 40, in Kansas City, MO.
