Assessment Notices In The Mail The Jackson County Assessment Department began sending out reassessment notices June 2, at a rate of about 40,000 a day. Be looking for yours in the mail soon. Included with the assessed value of your property is an estimated tax bill based on the projected tax levy from each taxing jurisdiction. > MORE Target Date Set For Opening County Facility For KC Inmates Work has begun to remodel a Jackson County facility that will be used to house Kansas City detainees and municipal inmates. It is expected that the County's Regional Correctional Center (RCC) will be fully operational and ready for prisoners in August.
