Jackson County Executive holds Blue and Gold Pep Rally for Lincoln Prep Tigers senior night
Newly installed up-lighting will illuminate downtown courthouse and skyline in school’s signature colors
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Jackson County Executive Frank White, Jr. is excited to announce a Blue and Gold Pep Rally and Lighting Ceremony at the downtown Jackson County Courthouse on Wednesday, October 19 at 6:30 p.m. The community and media are invited to attend and show their pride for the Lincoln College Prep Tigers ahead of their senior night football game, where County Executive White will be a special guest.
County Executive White, a proud alum of Lincoln High School, will be joined Wednesday by school leaders, coaches, players and cheerleaders to get the team ready for Friday night’s big matchup against the Central High School Blue Eagles. The event will also feature – for the very first time – the lighting of the downtown courthouse following a project to add one of the county’s most historic buildings to the downtown skyline. The courthouse will illuminate in the Tigers signature blue and gold colors.
