Downtown Jackson County Courthouse Closed Today
KANSAS CITY, Mo. –The Downtown Jackson County Courthouse is closed today, June 28, 2024, due to an unexpected loss of water pressure. As a result, staff normally located at the downtown courthouse will be working from home for the day. Our team is actively working to identify a solution to this problem and restore normal operations as soon as possible.
The Historic Truman Courthouse in Independence remains open and fully operational for residents who have appointments or need walk-in assistance with the Assessment, Collection and Recorder of Deeds departments.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate the community’s understanding as we address this issue.
