Celebrating six years of Walktober!!! Walk, ride or run a different trail the first four Sundays in October. The month of October is ideal for exercising outside ~ the temperatures are cool and the colors are spectacular. Walktober makes the most of this great season by inviting participants on a tour of autumn’s most vibrant landscapes and inspiring everyone to make movement a priority!! Commemorative Walktober buttons, designed by artist Alex Hamil, for the first 200 participants at each location. Attend all four events and collect all four designs!
Penn Valley Park is an urban park overlooking Downtown Kansas City, Missouri. The 176-acre park is home of the National World War I Museum & Memorial, an off-leash dog park, a lake and several fountains and sculptures including The Scout. 1.88 mile asphalt trail.
