Celebrating five years of Walktober!!! Walk, ride or run a different trail the first four Sundays in October. The month of October is ideal for exercising outside ~ the temperatures are cool and the colors are spectacular. Walktober makes the most of this great season by inviting participants on a tour of autumn’s most vibrant landscapes and inspiring everyone to make movement a priority!! Commemorative Walktober buttons, designed by artist Liz Vargas, for the first 200 participants at each location. Attend all four events and collect all four designs! 

 

Walktober 2023 begins at Missouri Town Living History Museum, next is Swope Park, Lake Vista Trail at Lake Jacomo is the third stop with Lakewood Greenway in Penguin Park being the final trail. Plein Air Quick Paint Contests are planned for both Swope Park and Lake Vista Trail.

All events are free and open to the public, but we do ask that you pre-register.
