Walk, ride or run a different trail every Sunday in October! The month of October is ideal for exercising outside ~ the temperatures are cool and the colors are spectacular. Walktober makes the most of this great season by inviting participants on a tour of autumn’s most vibrant landscapes and inspiring everyone to make movement a priority!! Dogs on leashes are welcome. Commemorative Walktober buttons, designed by artist Liz Vargas, for the first 200 participants at each location. Attend all four events and collect all four designs!
Also known as “William Klein Park,” this 36-acre nature park is a hidden little forest in the city. On a visit to Cave Spring, you will find an interpretive center with changing exhibits, picnic area, hiking trails, wildlife pond habitat, butterfly garden and small cave.
