The deadline to apply for the Senior Services Fund Board has been extended to September 12, 2025.
The Senior Services Fund Board will oversee revenues and administer funds from the Jackson County Senior Services Fund, a property tax levy approved by voters in 2024. This seven-member board will allocate funding to local nonprofit agencies that help older adults live independently, safely, and with dignity.
Funded programs will address community priorities such as transportation, home-delivered meals, in-home support, wellness programs, and caregiver assistance. All funds raised in Jackson County will stay in Jackson County, supporting services that improve the quality of life for older adults throughout the community.
