Groundbreaking ceremony for Jackson County Detention Center

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Jackson County – in conjunction with the design-build team JE Dunn | Axiom | DLR Group – are announcing today the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Jackson County Detention Center. Media are invited to attend.

This collaborative project will provide a fresh and renewed purpose for how the detention center can best serve detainees through educational and social support services, as well as meet the necessary safety, security and efficiency needs. Simply put, the vision of this project is Justice with Dignity.
