Interim Jackson County Executive Phil LeVota

Jackson County, MO, -Members of the media are invited to cover the official swearing-in ceremony for Phil LeVota, who will serve as interim Jackson County Executive.

DETAILS:

Independence attorney and former Jackson County assistant prosecutor Phil LeVota will be sworn in to serve as interim Jackson County Executive after being selected from a pool of nine candidates by the Jackson County Legislature. He is appointed to serve the remainder of former County Executive Frank White's term and will hold the office until January 2027.

Note: The event is not open to the public, but members of the media are invited to attend. Please do not publicize the event. County Executive LeVota will not be taking questions after the swearing-in ceremony but will be scheduling a press conference for Friday. A release will be issued tomorrow with details about the press conference.
