Logo Meaning & Symbolism

The Jackson County Bicentennial logo visually represents our past, present and future, reflecting the people, places and progress that have shaped our community over 200 years.

  • Rolling Green Bands — Parks and natural landscapes; growth and forward momentum
  • Blue Fields — Lakes and waterways; recreation and regional beauty
  • Yellow Path — Trails and pathways; connection, wellness, exploration
  • Roadway Element — Infrastructure and connectivity linking communities
  • Outer Blue & Silver Ring — Inspired by the County seal; civic pride and authenticity
  • Harry S. Truman Figure — Leadership, legacy, and service; forward progress
  • Sun Rays — Hope, optimism, and a bright future
