Each week showcases a new trail, highlighting autumn’s most spectacular landscapes while encouraging healthy, active living.
Leashed dogs are welcome to join the fun. The first 200 participants at each location will receive a commemorative Walktober button designed by artist Brooke Wangwe—collect all four by attending every event!
Join Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, KS Parks and Recreation on Sunday, October 18, for Walktober at Wyandotte County Park in Kansas City, KS! Participants will enjoy a guided history tour while walking a one-mile loop through the park. Along the way, experience some of the park’s highlights, including Sunflower Hills Golf Course, the George Meyn Building, and our famous A-frame shelter.
