Celebrate the beauty of fall by walking a different trail every Sunday in October. With crisp air, vibrant colors, and scenic views, it’s the perfect time to get outside and get moving. Each week showcases a new trail, highlighting autumn’s most spectacular landscapes while encouraging healthy, active living.
Leashed dogs are welcome to join the fun. The first 200 participants at each location will receive a commemorative Walktober button designed by artist Alex Hamil—collect all four by attending every event!
Check in at Hodge Park Trailhead (look for the KC Parks tent).
This trail system winds through the Hodge Park grounds near the Shoal Creek Living History Museum destination. These flowing paths provide an urban escape and a perfect woodland trail experience for younger or newer trail users.
