Begin this year’s holiday celebration with a magical bike ride through hundreds of lighted, animated displays Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Jackson County’s Christmas In The Park.
The 4.5-mile ride begins at the Frank White, Jr., Softball Complex, continues along County Park Road, through the displays at Longview Lake Campground and ends in front of Gusto! Coffee Shop in New Longview.
For the safety of all, there will not be a pre-gathering area or announcements before this year’s event. Park in the Lee's Summit Community Center parking lot and continue onto the course.
Please note the road to the park is dark and hilly, it may not be suitable for children under the age of 10. Parental discretion is advised. Ride at your own risk. Lights and helmets are required for all cyclists.
The event is free. Adult cyclists ride at 6 p.m. and families with children ride at 6:15 p.m.
Prizes will be presented to the best lit/decorated bike.
This is the 34th year for the annual Christmas In The Park drive-thru event which opens November 24 and features more than 500,000 holiday lights and 175 animated displays.
