Registration is now open for Jackson County’s three campgrounds.

Campgrounds open April 1, so reserve a spot online or call 816-503-4805 during business hours for more information. Same-day reservations must be made at the campground directly.

Guidelines

  • Campers must be 21 years of age or older to purchase a camping permit and must have and use an appropriate camping unit.
  • Tent Camping is limited to a total of five (5) days in any fourteen (14) day period at all County Campgrounds.  
  • Camping with Fifth Wheel, Bus, Motor Home, Travel Trailer, Pick-up camper, or Pop-Up is limited to a total of fourteen (14) days in any thirty (30) day period at all County Campgrounds.
  • Weekend reservations must include Friday and Saturday night stays.
  • The minimum stay for recognized Holidays is three (3) nights.  Recognized Holidays are: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
  • A maximum of five (5) people is allowed per campsite. Large parties are not permitted and should instead make a shelter reservation.
  • Campground attendants are on duty from 9 am to 9 pm. All on-site reservations must be completed by 9 pm.
  • Online reservations are available for Blue Springs, Jacomo and Longview Campgrounds only.
  • Telephone reservations are available at 816-503-4805 (Credit Cards Only)
  • Drive - through camping is not permitted on weekends or holidays.
  • Bounce houses and outside vendors are not allowed.
  • A maximum of three (3) pets is allowed.
