Public Hearing regarding Ordinance #5711

The Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee (DEI) will hold a Public Hearing to discuss Ordinance No. 5711 which relates to a ban on conversion therapy for minors, with a penalty provision. Conversion therapy, also known as reparative therapy, ex-gay therapy or sexual orientation and gender identity change efforts, is a range of discredited practices aimed at changing one’s sexual orientation or gender identity.

7:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (DEI voting)

Parking will be available on the south side of the Paseo Fine Arts’ Academy building. All patrons are to enter through the south doors of the building, into the school’s “arts wing,” main door check-in point.
