Personal Property Declarations due May 1

Your declaration postcard is on the way! Once it arrives, you’ll need the PIN printed on the postcard to begin filing your declaration.

If you haven’t received your postcard yet and would like to file right away, help is available. You can contact the Assessment Department or the Taxpayer Assistance Hotline at 816-881-4455 or call 816-881-1330. A representative will provide your PIN and assist you with completing your declaration.

Personal Property Declarations are due May 1, 2026.

Declarations not submitted before May 1, 2026, may be subject to penalty. This penalty will range from $15 to $105 depending upon the assessed value of your account.
