Pedal your way into the holiday season with Jackson County Parks + Rec.
The County’s holiday celebration begins Sunday, November 23 with “Trip the Light Fantastic” Bike Ride through Christmas in the Park where cyclists get an early look at the event’s displays.
“This event shines a light on what makes Jackson County special — people coming together to celebrate the season, enjoy our parks, and share a little holiday joy,” said County Executive Phil LeVota. “It’s a beautiful way to kick off the holidays and preview Christmas in the Park.”
Light and decorate your bike for this exciting ride which goes from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The 4.5-mile ride begins at the Fank White, Jr., Sports Complex and continues along County Park Road through Christmas in the Park. Parental discretion is advised for riders under the age of 10 as the course can be dark and hilly in places. Headlights and helmets are required for this night ride.
