Jackson County Parks + Rec is currently looking for people with a passion for the outdoors and a heart for service to join its ranks as volunteers.
Volunteering in the beautiful natural settings of Jackson County Parks means more than just giving your time, it means bringing your family and friends together to create a one-of-a-kind experience while making a meaningful impact in your community.
There are currently more than 500 volunteers performing in excess of 35,000 hours of work each year. Their work helps save the county more than a half million dollars a year.
Volunteer opportunities include historic interpretation, park and trail improvements, special recreation, golf, special events, outdoor education, marketing and more.
