Timeline to Re-Open Assessment, Collection Offices

Starting Monday April 22, Assessment & Collection will be open at the Truman Courthouse. 8 – 11 a.m: Open to previously scheduled appointments, seniors, & physically disabled individuals. 11 a.m. – 5 p.m: Open to scheduled appointments and walk-ins as time permits. You can schedule an appointment by downloading the Qless app or by coming into the office.

Jackson County Medical Examiner’s Office Partners with Othram Inc. to Identify 1993 Jane Doe. Othram technology enables the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) and the Australian Federal Police’s (AFP) National DNA Program to identify human remains and resolve missing persons cases. Local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies across the United States and internationally have partnered with Othram to break through previously impenetrable forensic DNA barriers and close previously unsolvable cases.
