Timeline to Re-Open Assessment, Collection Offices

Starting Monday April 22, Assessment & Collection will be open at the Truman Courthouse. 8 – 11 a.m: Open to previously scheduled appointments, seniors, & physically disabled individuals. 11 a.m. – 5 p.m: Open to scheduled appointments and walk-ins as time permits. You can schedule an appointment through Qless or by coming into the office.

Jackson County is seeking to add qualified talent to its team and is hosting a career fair on Saturday, February 24, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The event will take place at the Jackson County Administration Building, located at 1300 Washington in Kansas City.

This career fair is designed to connect enthusiastic job seekers with a multitude of career opportunities within county government, offering a unique chance to explore and pursue fulfilling roles in public service. Departments that will have booths available at the career fair:

Assessment – Part-Time and Full-time opportunities

Human Resources – Full-time

Collections – Full-time

Parks + Rec – Full-time, Part-time and Seasonal

Detention Center – Full-time

Sheriff’s Office – Full-time
