The Jackson County Detention Center recently promoted four female corrections officers to Lieutenant.
Sergeants Hajin Abrego, Lorraine Arter, Natasha Brown and Latreasia Wilson received their promotions during a ceremony February 25, 2021 at the Detention Center.
Diana Turner, Detention Center Director, said, “This is an exciting day for our organization. These associates represent the future of this department and will be key to helping us achieve Sheriff Forte’s vision that we become a premiere corrections agency.”
“They all have the right balance of courage under fire and the interpersonal communication skills that are so crucial for managing difficult individuals. They are a credit to the uniform and the County,” Turner said.
