County offices opening by appointment following cyber attack

Soft opening steps

Recorder of Deeds will open to the public Tuesday April 16. Assessment & Collections will be open this week by appointment only. (The departments are contacting taxpayers for appointments. Do Not Call to schedule an appointment.) 

Time Line for offices to re-open

  • Tuesday – Friday - Assessment & Collection open to previously scheduled appointments only (The departments are contacting taxpayers for appointments. Do Not Call For Appointments).
  • Monday, April 22- Assessment & Collection will be open for walk-ins.

Jackson County offices open at 8:00 a.m., you do not need to get in line before 7:30 a.m. 

If you need to pay your taxes, get a receipt, get a waiver, or complete your declaration you can do that online go to www.jacksongov.org for information.

To obtain a waiver or set up a new account you can e-mail the office at IPP@jacksongov.org – Please note there is a 14 business days turnaround on emailed documents. Info: https://www.jacksongov.org/.../Per.../Creating-a-New-Account
