Please check with your mortgage / escrow company. An escrow company serves as your agent and in the event the escrow company does not pay the tax bill by December 31, you must do so in order to avoid interest and penalties. If you did not receive a tax bill and you believe your mortgage / escrow company will not pay the bill, please contact the Collector’s office immediately so we may provide a tax bill to you, you can call 816-881-3232. You may also contact the Collector’s office online at: Collections@jacksongov.org to request to have your former mortgage company removed from your account and verify your mailing address so future tax bills will be sent to you.
