Lightning bolt pierces a storm cloud

Tornadoes and thunderstorms can happen anytime of the year. But spring can be a notoriously stormy season with a heightened threat of devastating winds, lightning bolts, flooding and hail. Are you and your family prepared in the event severe weather strikes where you live?

The Jackson County Emergency Preparedness Department is sponsoring this free symposium to raise awareness about how to prepare your entire family to ride out a potentially destructive storm.
