Jackson County Executive statement on Olathe Mayor Michael Copeland
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Jackson County Executive Frank White, Jr. has issued the following statement on the death of City of Olathe Mayor Michael Copeland:
“I am deeply saddened to hear news of the passing of Olathe Mayor Michael Copeland. He was an honorable public servant who dedicated nearly 30 years of service to his community and whose contributions will have a lasting impact on the Kansas City region. Mayor Copeland and his visionary spirit will be greatly missed by many. My wife Teresa and I send our most heartfelt condolences to his family and the City of Olathe during this difficult time.”
