Jackson County Executive signs Executive Order

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Today, Jackson County Executive Frank White, Jr. signed Executive Order 18-21, declaring that all County offices and courthouses be closed on Monday, December 24, 2018.

“Our Jackson County Associates work hard all-year long and I want them to spend as much time as possible with family and friends,” said White. “As the years go by, we realize that each and every moment we spend with loved ones is a precious gift that we cannot take for granted. As we gather to celebrate the holiday, let us remember those who are grieving loss, our military heroes who are away from family and those in our community in need. It is my hope the spirit of the season fills everyone’s heart with peace, joy and goodwill.”

Jackson County offices and courthouses will also be closed on Tuesday, December 25 in observance of Christmas Day and on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in observance of New Year’s Day.
