Third Annual COMBAT Awards Ceremony scheduled for Oct. 26
KANSAS CITY, MO (Oct. 24, 2016) – Jackson County COMBAT, the county’s Community Backed Anti-Crime Tax, will host its third annual awards ceremony on Wed., Oct. 26, at the Kansas City Public Library, Plaza Branch, 4801 Main Street, Kansas City, MO. Media availability with award nominees will begin at 5:00 p.m., followed by the awards ceremony at 5:30 p.m.
Over the last three years, COMBAT has recognized 14 individuals and organizations supported by COMBAT resources for their dedication to making Jackson County a safe and healthy community to live in.

From public safety, to substance abuse treatment, to violence and drug prevention programs and D.A.R.E. classes, COMBAT applauds those who work hard to make a difference in the community.
