KANSAS CITY, MO – Jackson County has released the results of its 2010 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR). The results were revealed at this afternoon’s weekly meeting of the Jackson County Legislature.
The 2010 report is an unqualified audit which is the highest form of opinion that can be obtained by a public or private organization.
“This audit reflects the continued hard work and professionalism of Troy Thomas and his staff in the Jackson County Finance Department,” said Jackson County Executive Mike Sanders. “Financial accountability and oversight has been and will continue to be a top priority of our county moving forward.”
