On April 10 at 3:15 p.m., the Royals will open their home schedule against the Oakland A’s at Kauffman Stadium. Fans across the metro and beyond have been waiting, and are ready to welcome baseball back home. Jackson County associates and the community are sharing their pride by using #RaisedRoyal on their favorite Royals memories.
Once again, fans can support a great cause on Opening Day and show their spirit in the following ways:
• Donate $1 or more to volunteers on area street corners to receive a special edition of the Kansas City Star
• Visit GKC Price Chopper Stores to donate $10 for a flag
• Celebrate at Union Station – donuts & autographs, as well as flag sales
• Purchase a flag at royals.com/gkcday
Proceeds benefit Rotary Club 13‘s Youth Camp located at Lake Jacomo, which allows kids with physical, mental or emotional disabilities to attend camp for FREE. Additional local children’s charities benefit from proceeds as well.
