Proposals for the 2014 substance abuse and violence prevention programs must be submitted to the Purchasing Department no later than 2:00 p.m., on December 3, 2013.
There will be a pre-bid meeting on November 12, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. in the Jackson County Legislative Chambers located at 415 E. 12th Street, 2nd Floor, Kansas City, MO 64106, for agencies reapplying for prevention funding.
Proposals received by the COMBAT office will be evaluated by outside reviewers to determine whether the programs meet funding criteria. Applications that are determined to have met the RFP criteria will be presented to the Jackson County Drug Commission for approval before being presented to the Jackson County Legislature.
The application itself can be reached from the COMBAT site but all directions of the RFP as posted in Purchasing must be completed.
