Explore the impact of this controversial decree which forced thousands of residents of Jackson County to abandon their homes in response to the burning of Lawrence, Kansas. Explore how early French settlers lived at the confluence of the Missouri and Kansas Rivers in the late 1700s. Re-enactors will interpret everyday life skills common on the frontier.
