Amethyst Place VideoAmethyst Place is a transitional living facility for women in drug and alcohol recovery. They are provided a private home to live with their children while going through recovery. The Amethyst Place program focuses on developing a structure in the clients’ lives so that they can better maintain sobriety.

Benidle Hall VideoBenilde Hall works with individuals who are both homeless and struggling to overcome their addictions. Benilde Hall provides life-skills training and counseling to prevent addiction relapses. The program's ultimate goal is to help its clients become productive citizens.

Drug HotlineCOMBAT Drug-Crime Hotline established for tipsters to provided vital information to law enforcement officials combating drug-related crime. Personnel handling the calls to (816) 881-3662 are on duty weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A system for leaving tips via voice-mail messages is available at all times.

Parents and children together video linkParents and Children Together is a COMBAT-funded program provided through the Child Abuse Prevention Association. Hear first-hand from a PACT social worker and a parent participant about how this program affects the lives of Jackson County residents.

Constructing Futures Video LinkConstructing Futures does more than just breathe new life into old houses. Jackson County Executive Mike Sanders devised this program to address three key issues: 1) vacant homes; 2) job-training for Drug Court graduates; 3) homelessness.
