Nearly 50 years of recorded documents, dating back to 1962, and marriage licenses dating back to the beginning of Jackson County in 1826 have been digitized by staff and are now available, free of charge for viewing or printing on-line.

All recorded documents prior to 1962 are available on microfilm and may be obtained at either of our recording offices.
The fee for a “copy” of a document is $2.00 for the first page and $1.00 for every additional page.
An additional service offered by the Recorder of Deeds Department is the certification of documents recorded by our department, such as recorded documents and marriage licenses.
By certifying a document, the department places its seal on the document indicating that is a true and complete copy of the initial original document recorded by the Jackson County Recorder of Deeds Department.
Certified copies may be obtained at either of our recording offices, in-person or by mail request.
If you are seeking a certified copy of a recorded document, the fee is $2.00 for the first page, $1.00 for every additional page and $1.00 to certify the entire document.
If you are seeking a certified copy of a marriage license the fee is $10.00. Mail-in requests should include a check, money order, etc. made payable to the Recorder of Deeds Department.
