Dr. Mary H. Dudley's Bio
Mary H. Dudley, M.D. is the Chief Medical Examiner for Jackson, Platte, Clay and Cass Counties, in Missouri. She is board certified in Anatomic and Forensic Pathology by the American Board of Pathology. She completed a two-year fellowship in Forensic Pathology at the University of New Mexico, following a four-year Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency at Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Previously, Dr. Dudley was the Chief Medical Examiner in Sedgwick County, Kansas for seven years, and Medical Examiner for Maricopa County in Phoenix, Arizona for five years. She has served as Chief Medical Examiner for the Jackson County Medical Examiner’s Office in Kansas City, MO since January 1, 2007.
She is a member of the following associations and committees:
• National Association of Medical Examiner’s - Fellow Member and served on the Board of Directors for six years.
• American Academy of Forensic Sciences - Fellow Member
• Registered Diplomat of the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators
• Kansas City Regional Mortuary Operations Recovery Group (KCRMORG) – covering 9 counties in Kansas and Missouri
Dr. Dudley is an Associate Professor for the University of Missouri-Kansas City Medical School of Pathology: University of Kansas Medical School, Kansas City, Kansas; and the Kansas City University of Medicine & Biosciences, Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Dudley also serves as the Program Director for the Jackson County Medical Examiner’s Forensic Pathology Fellowship Program.
