PROCEDURE FOR FILING FOR OFFICE
2010 PRIMARY ELECTION (JACKSON COUNTY)
On Tuesday, February 23, 2010, candidates for County Executive, County Legislature and the County Committees will be able to file declarations of candidacy with our office. Candidates should form a single file line behind the glass door in front of the County Clerk's Office which will open at 8:00 a.m. The candidates must be present to hold their place in line and to file for office. When the door opens, kindly proceed to the counter area. It would help expedite the process if candidates would have their current voter ID card available at the time of filing as well as a copy of their affidavit from the Department of Revenue (DOR) Form 5120 (filing of the DOR Form does not apply to county committee persons).
Thank you for your cooperation.
