You can use three options to search for your account:

A) Insert your Property Account (Parcel) Number. This number is included on your tax statement, and it is the most direct method of searching our database to locate the account you are seeking.

B) Enter the owner name. Be sure to follow the instructions closely regarding entry of last name then first name followed by an asterisk:
Smith Samuel*

C) You can also search via property address. Again, follow instructions closely regarding the use of asterisks, which can be used in a street number to obtain a list of addresses on a block.

If you use the parcel number included on your tax statement (option A), you will go directly to the account associated with that number.

But if you use either a name (B) or an address (C), you'll get a result listing, showing names, addresses and parcel numbers. From this list, click on the underlined blue "Parcel Number" to access the account that matches the name/address you were searching for.

Personal property accounts are nine (9) digits. Real estate accounts include dashes and multiple zeroes.

Upon clicking on a parcel number, you will receive a "Property Account Summary" that includes all account details, including the tax bill amount.

Upon reviewing a "Property Account Summary," click on the "Add To Payment List."

When you go to the next screen in the online payment program, you'll be given an option to "Search for Additional Property to Pay," allowing you to add multiple parcels to your payment list and then make a single online payment.

Notice: The Jackson County Courthouse and the Historic Truman Courthouse are open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays observed by Jackson County. Payments made online will be considered on time if made before the online payment website closes at 11:00 p.m. on December 31.

Upon adding all accounts to the "Payment List" select one of the two online payment options:

A) E-Check. The payment will be processed through your checking account. A $0.40 (40-cent) fee will be added, which is the exact cost the County pays for this service.


B) Credit Card. The County accepts MasterCard and Visa. There is a 2.395% fee charged by a third-party bank for a credit/debit card online payment.

Input all the necessary information. Required fields are denoted with a red asterisk (*).

When you scroll down this screen, you will be asked to input either your checking account or credit card information depending on which online payment option you selected.

After you input your information, the "Next Payment Step" button will send you to a screen allowing you to review your transaction before officially submitting.

This is the final step in the process.

Carefully review all of your payment information. You'll have three options:

  1. Cancel Payment
  2. Return To Payment Info.
  3. Submit Payment

When you click "Submit Payment," you can then print a receipt and complete your online transaction.
