Christmas in the Park is one of Jackson County Parks & Recreation's most celebrated events of the year. Three hundred thousand lights, 175 animated figures and splashes of Christmas color transform Longview Lake Park into an enchanting winter wonderland. The entire family will delight in the warmth of this fun-filled, holiday display . . . a gift from your Jackson County Parks. 

Directions to Christmas In The Park: Take 470 East to the View High Drive Exit, Exit South on View High Drive and follow to 3rd Street. Directional signs will be posted off of View High Drive for Christmas In The Park.  Longview Campground Address is 10711 West Scherer Kansas City, MO 64134.

The unique customs of our English, German and French settlers are brought to life while celebrating Christmas at this historic antebellum community. The smell of wood burning fireplaces, period music and authentic decorations make this a “must attend” holiday experience. A special visit by Belsnickle will thrill the children who will be treated with candy or a lump of coal!
