Jackson County Road Projects
are now listed on the Web

June 1, 2007 (KANSAS CITY, MO) – Jackson County has opened a link on the front page of the county website that gives commuters a one-stop opportunity to view ongoing road projects throughout the county. The Public Works information can be viewed at www.JacksonGov.org and is accessible through a link on the front page of the site. A banner featuring an orange barrel with a flashing yellow light invites users to link directly to the list.

“This is simply another part of our ongoing commitment to communicate with the public and offer timely information in an easy-to-use format,” said County Executive Mike Sanders.

The Jackson County website has been significantly improved over the past several months. The ease of use has made it possible to post pertinent updates to regional events such as the floods in early May, the two-for-one ticket offers by the Kansas City Royals and the many vacation and recreational opportunities available in the nationally recognized Jackson County parks system.
