Deputy Chief Administrative Officer

July 12, 2007 (KANSAS CITY, MO) – County Executive Mike Sanders will hold a media availablility today at 3:00pm to announce his selection of Shelley Temple-Kneuvean as the new Deputy Chief Administrative Officer of Jackson County. 

Mr. Sanders is excited to announce that Ms. Temple-Kneuvean is joining his administration.  She comes to Jackson County from Fannie Mae where she has been the Senior Deputy Director of the Kansas City Community Business Center, since 2004.  Ms. Temple-Kneuvean will be present at the media availability.  A national recruitment search was conducted for the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer.  Ms. Temple-Kneuvean was selected from a field of scores of candidates from across the country.

Ms. Temple-Kneuvean received Bachelor of Science degrees in Communication and Political Science with a minor in Public Administration from William Jewell College in 1991 and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City in 1992. 

This media availability will be at 3:00 pm today in the Executive Conference Room on the 2nd Floor of the Jackson County Courthouse in downtown Kansas City.
