2-for-1 Jackson County Royals' Ticket
Program Expanding to 15 Games
April 4, 2008 (KANSAS CITY, MO) – Jackson County and the Kansas City Royals are again forming a winning double play combination in 2008. Jackson County Executive Mike Sanders and his son will be the first Jackson County residents to purchase a 2-for-1 tickets at 10 a.m. Monday, April 7, at Kauffman Stadium. Immediately following his ticket purchase Mr. Sanders and representatives of the Royals will be available to discuss the expansion of the 2-for-1 ticket promotion for Jackson County residents.
The program has increased to 15 games this year, up from 10 in 2007. The Royals are extending this offer to County residents to say “Thank You” for supporting renovations at the Truman Sports Complex. Kauffman Stadium’s new high-def scoreboard will be in action for the Royals’ home-opener Tuesday, April 8, against the New York Yankees.
This year the 2-for-1 program also features expanded seat availability. Jackson County residents may purchase View Level Infield, Outfield Plaza or Field Plaza tickets and receive an equal number of tickets for free for any of the 15 scheduled 2-for-1 dates.
A schedule of the available games will be posted at the Royals and Jackson County (www.JacksonGov.org) websites. Tickets for these 2-for-1 dates are available online at www.Royals.com and at the Royals Box Office at Kauffman Stadium.
