Fort Osage is proud to host this annual gathering of military scholars and historians. Their diversified fields of study focus on current research and understanding of the second war between the United States and Great Britain. This clash between the two nations is often ignored and misunderstood. The speakers will present current findings on this conflict known as the War of 1812. Sessions will be offered both days and the public is welcome to attend.
