Location: Longview Lake Park The Longview Equestrian Park, located in Longview Lake Park, encompasses 54 acres for riding, jumping and showing. The multi-use area is the site for thirty-three events each year for both saddle and carriage competitors. Equestrian events are organized and sponsored by local horse clubs. Features of the facility include a lighted show arena, dressage arena, cross country course, carriage obstacle course, stalls for 115 horses, and a meeting hall/clubhouse.
Equestrian trails are located in several Jackson County Parks: Longview Lake Park, Blue River Parkway, Monkey Mountain Park, William Landahl Park and Blue and Gray Park. A trailer permit is required.
