All facility/shelter reservations, boat/motor, dock/dry storage and special activity permits may be obtained at the Fleming Park Permits and Reservations Office. The office is located at 22807 Woods Chapel Road, Blue Springs, Missouri 64015 and is open 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, January 2 through March 31, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., seven days a week, April 1 through September 30, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, October 1 through December 31. Seasonal boat/motor permits are also available at Longview Lake Marina and the Jackson County Collector's Offices (Kansas City and Independence).

Archery Permits
Archery permits allow the use of the temporary archery range located in Landahal Park. Permits can be purchased at Lake Jacomo in Fleming Park. The archery range season begins April 15 and concludes October 31.

Radio Controlled Flying/Boating Permits
Radio Controlled (R/C) flying permits allow the use of flying fields in Fleming Park, Longview Lake Park and Blue River Parkway. Permits will be issued subject to proof of liability insurance in the amount of $1 million. Current members of the AMA organization are issued liability coverage with membership.
R/C Boating permits allow the use of Alex George Lake at Blue River Parkway. Permits will be issued subject to proof of liability insurance in the amount of $1 million. Current members of the APBA organization are issued the applicable coverage.
