Boat and motor permits are required for the use of all Jackson County lakes and waterways. Boat and motor permits are available as annual permits or one-day ramp permits.  In order to purchase annual boat and motor permits, you need proof of ownership of all boats/motors to be registered (titles or pink slips with registration numbers and motor horsepowers listed), evidence of a current Missouri Certificate of Number (Missouri watercraft card or renewal application) and a personal property tax receipt with the boats/motors listed if owned on January 1, of that year. Jackson County residents only). Please contact the Permit Office for more information on out-of-state registrations.

| One-day ramp permit fees are $17.00 per day for all watercraft types and horsepowers. NOTE: Permits are also available at Longview Lake Marina, Blue Springs Lake Marina and Lake Jacomo Marina. |
