Introduction
The food service division inspects all restaurants, grocery stores, schools,
mobile food and temporary food establishments within the unincorporated
area of Jackson County and the cities of Blue Springs, Buckner, Grain Valley,
Grandview, Greenwood, Lee's Summit, Lone Jack, Oak Grove, Raytown and
Sugar Creek.
Day Care Inspections are conducted by the Jackson County
Health Department; 313 S Liberty, Independence Mo.
Kansas City and Independence perform all inspections
within their city limits, and they are not listed here.

All critical violations are corrected within 24 - 72 hours by food service establishments even though inspection report on the web does not indicate correction.
