County offices to be closed Jan. 16 in Observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Jackson County offices, including the courthouses in Kansas City and Independence, will be closed Monday, Jan. 16, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

KANSAS CITY, MO (Jan. 6, 2017) – Jackson County announced today that all county offices and courthouses will be closed on Monday, Jan. 16 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Locations that will be closed include the downtown Jackson County Courthouse at 415 E. 12th Street, Kansas City, MO; the Eastern Jackson County Courthouse, 308 W. Kansas, Independence, MO; and the Historic Truman Courthouse, 112 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO.
